Move to Dreamwidth

Hello everybody!

In light of recent events, we're in the process of moving the fest community to dreamwidth. The community can be found here: rs_collab. (DW is quite busy right now, so the import is not complete as of this moment.)

All the art from the 2016 round of the fest is currently hosted on the mod LJ scrapbook. We are looking into new hosting so that in the event that LJ implodes/LJ takes down the art for being offensive queer content/whatever, the art won't disappear from ao3. However if our participants would like to use their own hosting, they're very welcome to do so! Please drop us a line if you do, as that takes a lot of pressure off us.

When the fest returns in 2018 (knock wood) it'll do so at the dreamwidth community.

Hello everyone!

Instead of announcing the 2017 timeline, I'm here to tell you that we have decided to take a break. For several reasons, including the mods' own personal reasons, we have decided this is for the best. We are very sorry, but hope you understand.

We will be back in 2018!

In the meantime, check out the rs_games masterlist (voting just ended so reveals & awards will be up soon!) and watch the rs_small_gifts space for upcoming treats.

First of all, we want to thank everyone who participated in the 2016 round of rs_collab - you have all been fabulous and creative, and without you, this fest wouldn't have been. Summary: Sirius breaks his car, oh no. Sirius meets the hot mechanic who fixes his car, oh no. Sirius breaks his car again, oh n-nevermind.
Notes: One of the artists traced a car instead of drawing one. They apologise. Another artist definitely also traced a car. They also apologise. (Cars are hard.) A third artist came out of the woodwork and also admitted to tracing a car. That leaves one upstanding specimen of the human race on the team. The final artist wishes that they had known about all this car tracing business earlier- or better yet, that they could remember who came up with all of this car nonsense in the first place... All the artists would like to thank the mods for the extension! Much appreciated. We had a tremendous amount of fun creating this and couldn't have had a better team. *circle-jerk back-patting ensues* P.S. This is really not a soft porno. P.P.S. Really.

We will be posting all works to AO3 with our mod account (rscollabmods). After the reveals you will be added as co-creators. If you do not have an ao3 account, let us know if you need an invite. NB: we are still missing AO3 usernames for some of you, so please get in touch asap letting us know your username/whether you need an invite.

Posting starts June 15th. We'll post one work a day until all works are posted. Posting is anonymous, so do not reveal your team name!

Submitting
Your submissions should be sent to rscollabmods at gmail dot com. The subject line should look like this: Submission, Team Name, Type of Work. In the body of the email, include both the LJ header (below) and the form for any AO3 information you want for your work (below).

Your work should include all necessary html coding (for art situated within fic, please make it clear where it goes - for example using <img src="ALL CAPS TO GET OUR ATTENTION">). Please attach art to the email. Art will be hosted in the LJ scrapbook of rs_collab_mods.

In the body of the email, please also include the LJ usernames and AO3 usernames of all your team members. We of course have your names on file, but to ensure that no accidents happen during the reveals stage, please include them anyway.
